Christ

I believe Logos is the second person of the Trinity, fully equal with God in every way, and existed before the creation of the world (John 1:1-3).  He emptied Himself of the independent use of His divine attributes and took on a fully human nature (Phi 2:6-7) and lived a perfectly Spirit-filled/Spirit-led life (Luke 4:1, 14).

I believe the Logos came into creation being miraculously conceived of a virgin (Isa 7:14, Luke 1:26-35) by the Holy Spirit. He lived among mankind (John 1:14) known as Jesus (Mat 1:21, Luke 1:31) for He is Immanuel, God with us (Mat 1:23). He was full of the Holy Spirit (Luke 4:1a) and was led into the wilderness by the Spirit (Luke 4:1b) where He was tempted for forty days by the devil (Luke 4:2-13) in every way, and yet did not sin (Heb 4:14-15). He lived a perfectly sinless life (2 Cor 5:21, Heb 7:26, 1 Pet 2:22), and becomes the pattern for the way we are to live our lives (1 Tim 4:6).

I believe that Jesus died physically on the cross (John 19:30) for the penalty of sins of people as their substitute (Heb 2:17).  On the third day after His death, Jesus arose from the grave in His same physical body and was partially glorified (Luke 24:37-43) and gave us the power of new life. He appeared to His disciples and continued to be seen by them for forty days (Acts 1:3) until the time of His ascension to heaven (Acts 1:9).

I believe that Jesus is currently at the right hand of Father in heaven making intercession on our behalf (Rom 8:34, Heb 10:12). Jesus has been exalted to the highest place and the Father gave Jesus the name that is above every name (Phi 2:9), and that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Phi 2:10-11).

I believe in the immediate and physical return of Jesus to earth (John 14:3, Acts 1:11) where He will establish his kingdom reign on earth (Rev 19:1-5).
